By now, we all know that Etsy.com is the place to go when you are planning for a wedding. You can find amazing things there! I even bought my paper wedding bouquet and all our flowers from an Etsy vendor and they were amazing.  However, did you know that there is a growing trend of travel gifts?

I was just noticing this as I was starting my annual gathering of ideas for my large family. There are some amazing things on there, check out these 10 ideas and maybe they will help you get inspired for the traveler in your life 🙂 Even better? Everything on this list is under $50!

1. Map paper flowers: I have been obsessed with paper flowers since my wedding. I found out that I have absolutely no skill for paper folding, so this gift would be awesome 🙂
2. Busy Box for the Airplane: Traveling with children can be difficult for all involved but with a box like this, the kids in your life will hopefully be too busy to be anxious or loud. Many of the activities can be done right at your set and the box fits into your purse or carry-on!
3. Vintage Air Mail Lot: Made friends overseas? Or maybe you know someone who just loves the look and feel of air mail envelopes? This is the perfect gift for them! These are also a great idea for any mixed-media artist.
4. Adventure Fund: While I’m not sure how many other people still stash their coins in hiding spaces, this jar would be a great gift for a young traveler to encourage them to save for their future plans.
5. State Necklaces: Know someone with a ton of local pride? Or maybe a friend who moved away and is feeling homesick? This would be an incredibly thoughtful gift for them and also adds some bling into their lives 🙂
6. Travel Journals: I love travel journals, especially the new smash books that are coming out. An easy way to remember a trip, just add a glue stick and some stickers for a unique DIY memory book.
7. Temporary Travel Tattoos: These are awesome! Since I am afraid of tattoos and am not supposed to have any visible for my work, temporary ones would be an excellent compromise.  Even better, they are made to last up to 5 days!
8. Travel Ornament: What better way to remember a great vacation than with an ornament? This would be a fun way to commemorate a group trip or special place for a friend.
9. Travel Wallet: Seems like you can never lay your hands on your passport or credit card when you need to because they’ve vanished in your purse! This gift will help your globe trotting friend by putting everything in one stylish place. Bonus points for having a space big enough for a notepad or your phone!
10. Travel Posters: These are my favorite way to remember a trip that we’ve taken, but many travel posters being sold are copies of old airline posters. Of course, they get bonus points for having some beautiful posters of Boston 😉
